Transportation Service Agreement
Welcome to DE MORLA SNACK DISTRIBUTION LLC. By engaging our transport, forwarding, or snack distribution services, you're agreeing to the legal boundaries outlined below. We don't like fine print either, but it's how we protect both your cargo and our fleet.
1. Scope of Operations
Our team provides freight transportation, transit forwarding, and specialized snack delivery across Peabody and the broader region. We're committed to the 24 Pleasant St. standard of excellence. Did you know our dispatch operates under strict safety protocols to ensure on-time delivery every single time?
2. Liability Limits
While we treat every pallet like it's our own, liability for loss or damage is limited in accordance with standard cargo transportation industry regulations. We strongly recommend secondary insurance for high-value forwarding. We aren't responsible for delays caused by extreme weather, infrastructure failure, or planetary alignment issues—though that last one hasn't happened yet.
3. Payment & Billing
Invoices are generated upon successful transit. We've found that prompt payments help keep our trucks fueled and our drivers happy. Standard terms are Net 15 unless we've shook hands on something different in writing.
4. Warehouse Storage
Our warehouses for freight transportation are climate-controlled environments. Goods stored beyond the agreed transit window will incur standard daily warehousing fees. Why let your goods sit when they could be on the move?
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my snacks insured during transit?
Yes, we carry standard cargo insurance, but specific limits apply based on the commodity type. We're specialists in snack distribution, so we know the drill.
What happens if a delivery is missed?
We'll notify you immediately. Logistics is unpredictable, but our response isn't. We'll reroute or reschedule faster than you can say "forwarding."
